Welcome
MAC is an acronym for the Multicultural Association of Canberra. It started with the following objectives along with GOPIO, Canberra.
- To promote understanding and appreciation of Indian origin and various cultures among the multicultural community in the Australian Capital Territory
- To promote fraternity and comradeship between the Indian members and the local community
- To help migrants coming into ACT and its surroundings to settle quickly and develop contacts with the local community
- To provide support to Indian and other vulnerable groups of a multicultural community
